The North Face 100 香港越野跑挑戰賽2024 100公里跑手今年將深入荔枝窩及榕樹凹，感受於香港本土存在超過400年人文風貌。​

100公里選手跑過八仙嶺後會到達荔枝窩，荔枝窩是一條擁有400年歷史的沙頭角古村，村內有一棵屹立不倒的百年古樹——「空心樹王」，跑手能體會自然和人文百年來共存的氣息。​

從荔枝窩蜿蜒而上，100公里選手將途徑榕樹凹。跑手將經過榕樹凹一間極具特色的樹屋——「四字屋」，榕樹的根部繞繼成一個「四」字形狀印，展現出一種獨特的生機和生命力！榕樹凹賽道臨近海邊，100公里選手更能借此機會欣賞沿途海景！​

The North Face 100 Hong Kong Ultra Trail Challenge will let 100 km runners delve into Lai Chi Wo and Yung Shue Au, experiencing the cultural landscape that has existed in Hong Kong for over 400 years.​

After running through the Pat Sin Leng, the 100 km runners will arrive at Lai Chi Wo, an ancient village in Sha Tau Kok Chuen with a history of 400 years. Within the village stands a resilient century-old tree, allowing runners to sense the coexistence of nature and culture over the past century.​

From Lai Chi Wo, the route winds upward, leading the 100 km runners through Yung Shue Au. Participants will pass by a distinctive treehouse in Yung Shue Au. The roots of the banyan tree twist into a shape resembling the character "four," showcasing a unique vitality and life force! The Yung Shue Au trail runs close to the sea, giving the 100 km runners the opportunity to enjoy the coastal scenery along the way!​
