22 December 2023, Hong Kong - The North Face reveals its second collaboration with pioneering streetwear label CLOT, set to launch on 1 January 2024. Following the first collaboration inspired by iridescent clouds during the golden hour, the new collection takes its cue from the mesmerizing aurora colors of the North Pole after nightfall and leverages cutting-edge technology and ingenious pairing, redefining outdoor fashion. Meticulously crafted outdoor pieces and gear perfectly combine bold innovative designs and vibrant color palettes, helping discover the limitless possibilities of outdoor wear.
Venture into the wilderness under the northern lights
The North Face x CLOT new collaboration draws inspiration from the feeling of wonder experienced when witnessing the northern lights, capturing the feeling of awe in a new perspective. The patterns of aurora and cosmic sky printed on the fabric capture the feeling of wonder during exploration. Meanwhile, the mysterious colors of solar blue, geyser aqua, radiant poppy, and gamma pink collide with the beauty of nature, vividly creating the unique style of the new collection.
The North Face x CLOT Aurora Snow Jacket adopts the three-layer waterproof DRYVENT¹ technology to ensure durability and features a detachable hood with adjustable straps, which can be paired with a helmet for added protection during your skiing adventures. Its two-way zipper with an internal draft flap effectively blocks any cold winds to retain warmth. The jacket’s seamless shoulder design also provides explorers with the most lightweight comfort. Paired with the jacket, the Aurora Snow Bib incorporates an articulated fit designed for skiing and an exceptional suspender-adjustment system to provide a comfortable experience for explorers. In its upper part, the drop-in mesh pockets' high capacity meets the storage needs, and the eye-catching contrasting-colored zippers highlight the fashionable exterior.
To maximise warmth retention, slip on The North Face x CLOT 2 in 1 Hooded Fleece Top as the inner layer. The jacket features a detachable hood and sleeves, allowing explorers to mix and match with ease. The North Face x CLOT Fleece 2 in 1 Pants also showcase a color-blocked pocket and waistband, and are interchangeable into shorts, keeping you warm in style. Remarks:
1. DRYVENT fabrics are engineered to be fully waterproof, windproof and breathable. The outer face of the textile is treated with a durable water repellant finish that helps form droplets and repel water from the surface.
2. DWR is a lightweight fabric that is water-repelling and water-resistant which blocks moisture on the fabric surface while offering high breathability. It also provides quick drying to keep the fabric clean.
3. RDS (Responsible Down Standard) independently certifies animal welfare practices in down and feather production, tracking down the certified down from farm to final product.
